The Balkan Criminology team has been active since 2012 and is being continuously headed by Assoc.Prof. Dr. Getoš Kalac. The 2012-2019 team operated within the framework of a Max Planck funded research group, whereas nowadays it has grown into a fully independent research platform – the Balkan Criminology Network. Besides the network members, Balkan Criminology is currently being operated by a core group of Croatian researchers and experts.
