Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security, University of Maribor is organising the 13th Biennial International Conference on the topic of Criminal Justice and Security in Central and Eastern Europe: Perspectives of Rural Safety, Security and Rural Criminology. With this year, Balkan Criminology has proudly became one of the partners alongside the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime, that is also a co-sponsor of the conference.
The primary aim of the conference is to exchange the latest views, concepts, and research findings from criminal justice studies on rural safety, security, and criminology among scientists, researchers, and practitioners from Europe and beyond. The conference will also highlight new ideas, theories, methods, and findings in a wide range of research/applied areas relating to rural issues. It is to be held on 13-15 September 2021 via the Zoom platform.
